William B. Newman, Jr., age 72, died July 2, 2012 at MTMC. Mr. Newman was the son of the late William B. and Addie Sue Stacey Newman, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Baxter Newman who died in 1999. Mr. Newman is survived by his daughters Kim Newman Sullivan of Fairview, and Stacey Newman Thorn of Wilmington, NC; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial service will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Murfreesboro. Travis Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Saturday.
