William Orin Nesbitt, age 74, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Mr. Nesbitt, a decorated Vietnam Veteran, retired from the US Army after 20 years of service. Mr. Nesbitt is survived by his wife of 50 years Kathryn Nesbitt of Indiana; sons Kenneth Nesbitt and his wife Bonnie of Smyrna, Kevin Nesbitt of Indiana and Donnie Nesbitt of Massachusetts; grandchildren Nick & Andrew Nesbitt and Marsee and T.J. Townsend; and five brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Nashville National Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 until 9:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna.
