William M. Miller, Jr., age 73, of Christiana died March 5, 2017 at his home. Mr. Miller was a native of Christiana and was a son of the late Mose and Louise Parker Miller. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sharon Miller. Mr. Miller was born and raised in Christiana on his ancestral home place.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Ganelle Waterson Miller; sons, William Scott Miller and his wife Myra of Murfreesboro, Eric Lee Miller and his wife Donna of Christiana; daughter, Tina Ganelle Hutchens and her husband Robby of Christiana; sisters, Eva Frances Brown and her husband Elijah of Murfreesboro and Linda Jo Nickens and her husband Joe of Christiana ; and three grandchildren, Colin Miller, Maegan Miller, and Quinn Hutchens .

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 3:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Steve Hutson will officiate. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Christiana. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12noon until the time of services at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Miller was a member of Third Baptist Church and was a 1962 graduate of Christiana High School. He retired from United Service Equipment Company and was a life-long farmer.

Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
