William Edward "Bill" McGill, age 66, of Murfreesboro died Saturday, March 16, 2013. He was a native of Davidson County and the son of the late Reed Sharp and Alice Rebecca Charlton McGill. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday at North Boulevard Church of Christ. David Young and John Risse will officiate. Graveside service will be 11:00am Thursday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Diane McGill of Murfreesboro, daughter, Jeanna (Michael) Loyd of Eagleville, son, Jason McGill of Indianapolis, IN, brother, Randall (Patsy) McGill of Lavergne, sisters, Rita (Billy) Ferrell of Smyrna, Janice (Jerry) Steimle of Nolensville, grandchildren, Trevor and Taylor Goodson, adopted son, Daniel Kim, his beloved dog, Rusty and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. McGill was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ. He served as the building maintenance supervisor at the church for many years. He also served his country in the US Army. His passion was outside improving the landscaping at his home where he has constructed ponds that are a habitat for precious koi fish.
