William P. Lovvorn , age 95 of Antioch, TN, passed away Thursday February 23, 2017. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Frank and Tabitha Boldin Lovvorn. Mr. Lovvorn was also preceded in death by his wife Ruby Travis Lovvorn and brothers, Lonnie and Howard Lovvorn.

Mr. Lovvorn is survived by his son, Ronnie Lovvorn of Springfield, TN; daughter, Carol Frizzell, and her husband James of Manchester, TN; brother, Richard Lovvorn of White House, TN; sisters, Ruth Spears of Bellevue, TN and Rachel Robbins of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Daniel and Stephanie Frizzell; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Rowan Frizzell, and Sullivan Thatcher.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. James Frizzell and Rev. Richard Lovvorn officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Lovvorn was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy, and a retired mechanic from Metro Nashville.
