WILLIAM EARL KING age 58 of Smyrna, TN, died Tuesday March 8, 2011. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the Charlene Parsley King and the late Meredith Clementine Pete King Jr. He was also preceded in death by his brother Johnnie King. Mr. King is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Church King; mother, Charlene Parsley King of Christiana, TN; daughters, Rosemary Bianchi and husband Jeff of Hendersonville, TN and Rebecca Roberson and husband Chris of Eagleville, TN; sisters; Debbie K. Pitts, Joyce K. Davis, and Evelyn K. Dority and husband Billy all of Murfreesboro, TN, Donna King Baum and husband Barry of Christiana, TN, and Dawn K. Mendl and husband Doug of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Mary Katherine Ranstad, Shane, Chase, and Haley Bianchi, C. J., Johnathon, Emily, and Dustin Roberson; nephews, John and Jeremy Dority, Logan and Lawson Brock, Christian and Hunter Mendl, Anthony, Dylan, Cayden, and Braxton Wiggins, and Robbie King; nieces, Kristy, Andrea and Arianna King, Angela Bond, Meredith Wiggins, Montana and Morgan Brock. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Whitworth Cemetery with military honors. Life long friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. King was a member of the Presbyterian Church, a U.S. Marine veteran, and a retired Meteorologist Technician with the National Weather Service. After his retirement, his special interest was working on and restoring his antique cars in his spare time. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at WOODFIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL.
