William Gerald Hendrickson, age 74 of LaVergne died Saturday December 28, 2013. He was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Willie Brown Vandygriff Hendrickson, also his first wife Georgia M. Hendrickson who died in 2002 and Merry Betsy Hendrickson who died in 2010. Mr. Hendrickson was a member of LaVergne First Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army. He was retired from the Printing Business. Mr. Hendrickson is survived by his children, Michael Hendrickson and wife Maria of Smyrna, Pamela Kaye Coffey of Smyrna; step children, Mellonee Gallione and husband Mario of Mt. Juliet, Keith Hudson and wife Tina of Colorado, Kyle Hudson of Smyrna.; His grandchildren locally, Joey Matthew, Johnathan, Ella, Katie, Maria, Michael and Marcella and two more out of state; sister, Joyce Campbell of Woodbury and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Brother Milton Hick and Brother Bill Thomason, will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
