Obituary

On a Beautiful day in December, the 27th to be exact at 14:50 William (Robert) Hayes, age 68 of Smyrna, TN said  I Love You to his daughter before he took his last breathe in his external vessel and took a voyage into the infinite. From the stars, Infinite, and light we are born, and we shall return our vessels to the earth as our energy, our love, and our light once again joins the Infinite and we are One. He will be rejoiced and rejoined by loved ones and friends who have already taken this journey and now await his arrival. This has been a very important mission he had here on our beautiful Earth. He has dedicated his mission on our Earth, to his family and friends. He served his Country in the Vietnam War, and worked as a skilled craftsman of many talents.

He is blessed to have his Daughter Carrie Holt-Mullins of Smyrna, TN and her children Onika, Johnathan (Johnnie), and Wesley Mullins, His Son Captain Aaron Holt of the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Georgia Army National Guard , his wife Danielle Rowland Holt, and their children Ryder, Easton, Lawson Holt. Robert is the devoted Brother to Walter (Ronnie) Hayes, Dorothy (Dot) McNeil, Lewis Hayes, Carol Styles and Shirley Gzikowski. He has been reunited with his mother, Annie Louise Young Burnette, and father John Lewis Hayes. Robert is one of 11 children, so he will also be reuniting with brothers and sisters that have already prepared him for his journey, Eleanor (Sue) Burdette, Thomas Hayes, Ann McDowell, Evelyn Ashley, Jane Moore.

Robert loves being outdoors, where he spent days in the yard either caring for his own yard or for others as he worked as a Retired helping hand for Absolute Lawn and Landscape in LaVergne, TN with Steve Herman. Ronnie and Robert the spent hours on end fishing and enjoying the greater life of existence. Robert took on projects as a helping hand with Ronnie to help neighbors, family and friends. He was a hard worker and devoted to never sleeping in and taking on as much of the day as possible. We sometimes take advantage of the small sacrifices made by others, and sometimes the small things are over looked due to the chaos of the world and the dream we live. He always saw the beauty in the World around us and took advantage to the Sunsets, Meteor Showers, and Mother Earth herself.

We don't grieve this day, although He will be greatly missed and will always be loved. We celebrate a time spent here with all of us, a soul as old as dirt as he would say. We rejoice that he takes his journey further, and he touched our lives. He spent hours in the hospital fighting for his daughter, and waited for the Christmas to end before he said his last good bye.

***Due to Allergies in the family, please do not send flowers, we are requesting donations to help out with the finances that were left behind.  Thank You.***
