William Douglas Hane, age 77 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Tuesday July 28, 2015. A native of Tullahoma, TN, he was the son of the late Franklin Thurman and Kathleen Jones Livingston Hane. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Randy Livingston. Mr. Hane is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Phillips Hane; sons, William Timothy Hane and his wife Jennifer Lynn of LaVergne, TN, and Michael Quinn Hane of Smyrna, TN; brother, Joe Livingston; sisters, Peggy Darnell and Pamela Smith all of Tullahoma, TN; grandson, William Carter Hane of LaVergne, TN. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Charles Pittman officiating. Burial will be in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN. Mr. Hane was a US Army veteran, a member of River of Life Church, and retired from Avco in Nashville, TN.
