William Fisher Greene age 85 of Columbia, passed away Friday October 24, 2014. A native of Paris, Tennessee he was the son of the late Rupert and Grace Pierce Greene. He was also preceded by two sisters; Ruth Van Dyke, Grace Nell Johnson, and a brother; Raymond Greene all of Paris, Tennessee. Mr. Greene is survived by daughter; Brenda Bates and her husband Paul of Columbia, son; Randy Greene and his wife Debbie of Bradyville, and a grandson; Cory Muehlbauer of Columbia. Mr. Greene was a member of Bradyville Church of Christ and served in the Untied States Air Force. He was retired from Middle Tennessee State University as Vice President of Business and Finance. Visitation will be 1:00pm until 2:00pm Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at Thyatira Cemetery.
