Obituary

William Evyn "Bill" Crowder age 84 of Mt. Juliet, TN, left this earth from Hospice to go fishing with our Lord in Heaven, Saturday February 9, 2013. A native of Fordsville, KY, he was born September 25, 1928 to the late William Everette and Celestie Daughtery Crowder. He was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Crowder and two grandchildren. Mr. Crowder is survived by his wife of 64 years, Edna S. Crowder, daughters, Cathy Crowder and Cheryl Browning both of Mt. Juliet, and Amy Haubenreich of LaVergne; sons, Steven Crowder of Little Rock, AR, and Daniel Crowder of Hendersonville; brother, Conrad Crowder of Naples, FL; sisters, Jean Anderson of Louisville, KY, Merrily Barber of Richmond, VA, and Judy Crowder of Caneyville, KY; several grandchildren and multiple great-grandchild and lots of fish in the lakes. Bill was a member of Living Springs Baptist Church and was a good Christian Man who loved his Lord in his own quiet way, loved his family, loved to fish, loved to sing gospel, and loved his dog "Missy". He was U. S. Navy veteran and was employed at Western Electric for 37 years. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Milton Hicks officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be all of his Fishing Buddies. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Living Springs Baptist Church Building Fund in his memory.
