Mr. William Richard Duarte, age 56, of Cottontown, TN passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020. He was born in Houston, TX to the late Richard and Patricia Lane Duarte. Mr. Duarte worked for SRP Contractors. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

He was an avid sports fan and loved watching his Tennessee Vols and Nashville Preds. He loved spending time with family, hunting, growing his garden, and making others laugh. He was a friend to all and beloved by so many.

He is survived by his fiancee, Joy McKinney; three daughters, Amber Duarte, Lauren Sneed, and Leah Potts (Blake Potts); grandsons, Aven Sneed and Hudson Potts; siblings, Donna Appling (John Appling), Mary Stuckey (Greg Stuckey), and John Duarte (Jane Duarte); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
