William Roy Clymer, age 90, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away, Thursday, October 3, 2013. A native of Knox County, IN he was preceded in death by his parents, Piercie and Ada Sprinkle Clymer. He is also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 1:00PM at Murfreesboro Christian Church. Pastor Bert Scott will officiate. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00PM Eastern Time in Fairview Cemetery in Vincennes, IN with military honors. Mr. Clymer is survived by his loving wife, Rita Mayes Clymer; sons, Gary Clymer of Oaktown, IN and Mark Clymer of Vincennes, IN; daughters, Carol Del Negro of Newark, DE and Connie Etzel of St. Petters, MO; step-son, Bradley Rayls of Lascassas; step-daughter, Denise Nunley of Murfreesboro; and two sisters, Janie Calvin of Creston, IA and Margie Hoit of Bicknell, IN and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Clymer was an active member of Murfreesboro Christian Church. He was a retired sales person with Sears & Roebuck Corp. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM Saturday at Murfreesboro Christian Church.
