William Bill C. Neal, age 75, of Murfreesboro, TN. died Monday, March 14, 2011. A native of Toccoa, GA. he was the son of the late Harold and Ruth Carson Neal. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Kevin Dye and Brother Bill Swindell will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Neal is survived by his wife of 51 years, Josephine Carroll Neal; daughters and son in law, Lisa and Eric Lamb of Murfreesboro, and Wendy Neal of Murfreesboro; two granddaughters, Leigh Ann Lamb and Lindsey Lamb both of Murfreesboro; one sister and brother in law, Ann and Royce Carter of Toccoa, GA.; and three brothers and two sisters in law, Milton Neal of Toccoa, GA., Robert and Shirley Neal of Toccoa, GA. and Fred and Janice Neal of West Minster SC. Mr. Neal was a member of the Leanna Church of Christ. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1957. He worked at Wickes Supply for 25 years and Holdens Hardware for 10 years. Pallbearers will be Wendell, Richie and Randy Bolin, Mike Howard, David Henry, Herman York, Danny Thomason, Floyd Arnold, Don Spivey, David Russell and Kenneth Young. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Hervelic, Dr. Frank Louthan, Dr. Frank Carter and Dr. David Chatman. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Leanna Church of Christ in care of the Paraguay Missions for Ale and Brittnea Yegros.
