WILLIAM CARROLL BROWN, age 78, of Smyrna, Tn. died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at StoneCrest Medical Center. He was born in Chapel Hill, Tennessee and was the son of the late Edard & Ann Louise Farrar Brown. He is survived by his nephews, Mike Davis, Nashville, Mark Davis, Phoenix, Arizona and Bob Blackburn, Nashville; nieces, Pamela Harris, Chapel Hill, Tn. and Sue Hinkley, Reeves Junction, Michigan. Visitation with the family will be from 5:30 to 6:30 pm Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Masonic services to follow at 6:30 pm by the Sam Davis Masonic Lodge. His cremains will be buried in Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. Mr. Brown was a member of the Joywood Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Conflict having served in the United States Air Force.
