William "Bill" Brett Lambing III

Mr. William “Bill” B. Lambing III, age 88, of Murfreesboro TN, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, son to the late William B. Lambing, Jr and Geneva Lambing.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia Lambing; his son, Brett Lambing and his wife Shelley; his daughter, Kelly Augustine and her partner Duane Buck; grandchildren, William B. Lambing, V, Sophia Lambing, Chelsea (Justin) Canning, and Kyle (Amita) Augustine; great-grandchildren, Austin Canning, Harper Canning, Maya Augustine, and Reyna Augustine; brother, Ed (Nancy) Lambing, and sister, Geneva Queen.

Bill was a devoted member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He spent many years as the Purchasing Director at Meyer Products in Cleveland, Ohio. One of Bill's greatest passions was golf. He loved the game so much that his coworkers often rewarded his hard work by treating him to a day on the golf course. Bill also had a deep appreciation for nature and wildlife, faithfully keeping his bird feeders filled, even during the winter months. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and enjoyed sharing meals together at their favorite restaurants.

Visitation with the family will be at Woodfin Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Funeral service at Woodfin Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Burial will be at a later date at Middle Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery.
