Mr. Leonard "Wayne" Mobbs, age 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, July 7, 2022 peacefully at his home. He was born on February 18, 1934 in Ethridge, TN to the late Monroe and Bessie Hipp Mobbs. Mr. Mobbs worked in sales for different distribution companies throughout his career. He was a member of Salem Creek Church of Christ. He enjoyed being on his tractors and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Mobbs is survived by his children, Don Mobbs and his wife Teresa and Donna Storie and her husband Devin; grandchildren, Chris Thomas and his wife Adrienne, Austin Mobbs and his wife Karen, Matt Thomas and his wife Jenny, Ryan Mobbs and his wife Traci, Bubba Storie and his wife Sarah, Amber Britt and her husband Willie, and Tiffany Upchurch; great-grandchildren, Tori, Joe, Slayde, Emma, Lexi, William, Brayden, Brenden, Jace, Kinley, Cason, Laura, and Evelyn; great-great-granchildren, Lukah and Lillie; siblings, Vernon Mobbs and Ruth McDonald; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Crownover Mobbs, and siblings, Major Mobbs, Leon Mobbs, Francis Bimstein, Naoma Woodcock, Lorene Mattox, Neal Mobbs, and Beaman Mobbs.

The family would like to thank the staff at Caris Hospice, especially Sandra, for their compassionate care of Mr. Mobbs.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 11:00am at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
