WAYNE MATHIS, age 50, of Lavergne, Tn. died Tuesday at home. He was born in Nashville, Tn. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Mathis; daughters, Jacquelyn Mathis and Marcia Mathis of Lavergne; parents, James Hollis & Sarah Frances Thompson Mathis of Hermitage; brothers, Timmy Mathis and Kenny Mathis of Hermitage; sisters, Susie Craddock of Chapel Hill and Brenda Hutchison of Antioch. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Friday and after 10 am Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services 11 am Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Bro. Al Henson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn. Active Pallbearers will be Glenn Thompson, Shane Dugger, Henry Soto, Jack Tracy, David West and Mickey Jones. Honorary Pallbearer will be Walter Thompson.
