Wayne I. Caswell, age 77 of Smyrna died Friday January 21, 2022. He was a native of Springfield, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Caswell of 40 years, his parents, Samuel Caswell and Carrie Hamilton Caswell, daughter Charmin Caswell Thomas, brothers Joe Caswell and Monte Caswell, and sisters Rosemary Caswell, Joan "Noonie" Knappmeyer, and Jean Gallo. Mr. Caswell was a member of Jesus Only Tabernacle and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He served in the Navy for 4 years then went to college to become a Barber and then went to Tucson Unified School District and retired. He is survived by children Kevin Caswell and wife Leah, Cheri Caswell, Karrie Winterbauer and husband Jimmy, James "Bo" Thomas and wife Heidi, Amanda Ladd and husband Bobby, Wayleen Caswell, sister Bunnie Caswell, grandchildren Kris Smith, Kyler Caswell, Kayla Caswell, Hunter Collins, Charleen Caswell, Tiffany Hassell, Samantha Thomas, Watie Wayne "Bubba", Hailey Thomas, Hannah Thomas, Sonya Morales, Ashley Morales, Destany Pennington, Sean Damron the 2nd, Chloeana Hudson, Dakota Caswell, and Serenity Arnold and great grandchildren Bristol Smith, Dwayne Carter, Brooklyn Carter, and Conner Grimes.

Visitation will be held at 2:00 PM TO 4:00PM Saturday February 5th, 2022, at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna,Tn. Celebration of life service will be 4:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
