Wanda F. Waldrop, age 59, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2015 at her home in Murfreesboro. A native of Chattanooga, TN and long-time resident of Murfreesboro, she was born July 9, 1955. Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 18th, from 10:00 a.m. till the service time at 1:00 p.m. all at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna, TN. A graveside service will be Thursday in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN at 3:00 p.m. Wanda joins her mother, Iva Mae Blevins; sister, Sheila Blevins; and brother-in-law, Jackie Lewis in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Waldrop; daughter, Kila (Brian Carr); grandchildren, Emily Elks, Cole Brawley, and Cade Carr; father, David Blevins; sisters, Debbie Blevins, and Brenda Lewis; mother-in-law, Patsy Waldrop; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Barry) Craig and Beth (Rick) McDonald; along with several amazing nieces, nephews and loving family and friends. Wanda lived her life to the fullest. She was an amazing mother, wife, and grandmother, a wonderful friend, and even a better cook. She is so loved, and she will be greatly missed.
