Wanda Cook Leverette , age 85 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday October 26, 2018. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Frelan "Tom" Cook and Alta Tolbert Cook.

Survivors include her husband, David C. Leverette; sons, Ronald Leverette and his wife Eunice, Brian Leverette and his wife Connie, and Michael Leverette and his wife Caroline; daughter, Renee Leverette and her husband Rick Taylor all of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Aimee, Jason, Alex, and James Leverette; step-grandchildren, Tina Williams, Rachael Ross, Lauren Young, Ricky Taylor, Jr. and Michael Taylor; sisters, Juanita Davis of Murfreesboro, TN and Yvonne Leverette of Smithville, TN.

Mrs. Leverette earned a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee.

A celebration of life service will be Sunday July 28th 4:00PM at Woodifn Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday July 28th 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. www.woodfinchapel.com
