WANDA GAYLE COOKIE SHONTING age 73 of LaVergne, TN, died Thursday April 7, 2011. A native of Dyersburg, TN she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Bessie V. McRee Asbridge. She is survived by daughters, Bridget Pake of LaVergne, TN, Bettina Pentecost and husband Tony of Centerville, TN, Kelly McCreless of Nashville, TN, and Beth Ann Croslin of Smyrna, TN; son, Alan G. Shonting and wife Tammy of Hendersonville, TN; brother, Russell G. Asbridge and wife Julie of Hendersonville; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, TN with Dr. Bobby Howard officiating. Cookie was a retired cook and waitress with Waffle House for 22 years.
