Walter Thomas Richards, Jr, age 68, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter T. Richards and Charlene Barrett.

He is survived by his brother Sam Barrett; sister, Joan Anderson; nephews, Tim Barrett and Eric Barrett;  2 great nieces and 2 great nephews, Benton being his special  nephew.

Mr. Richards was a native of Rutherford County. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. Most recently he worked in the janitorial department for Rutherford County Schools.

In memory of Mr. Richards the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice Murfreesboro for all their hard work, dedicated love and support.
