Dr. Walter B. Pegram, Jr. age 80 of Lascassas died Friday February 10, 2012. He was a native of Davidson County and was preceded in death by his parents, Walter B. Pegram, Sr. and Viola Evelyn Garrett Pegram. Mr. Pegram was an Army veteran during the Korean Conflict, and was a retired Lt. Col. with the Tennessee Air National Guard after 27 years of service. He was also Chief of Dental Services at Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro from 1965-1996, and graduate of Nashville School of Law. He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Pegram ; children, Walter B. Pegram III and wife, Jennifer of Murfreesboro, Karen Bush and husband, Larry of Lascassas; grandchildren, Amerson Pegram and wife Katie, Alex Pegram, Garrett and Sarah Bush. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Sunday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Murfreesboro. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with full Military Honors.
