Walter Augustus "Gus" DuPuis, age 81, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Funeral service will be 12noon Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Dr. Kenneth Summey will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Karin Dupuis, children, Audi DuPuis, Trudy Zobel, Scott DuPuis, step children, Richard Fluharty, Holly Cawthon, Renee Lange, Caroline Fluharty and 16 grandchildren. Mr. DuPuis served his country for 32 years as a Major in the US Army Reserves and was retired from American West Trading Company, where he served as CEO.
