WALTER LEE GAMBILL, age 69, of Smyrna, Tn. died Saturday at Skyline Medical Center. He was born in Rutherford County and was the son of the late Walter Clifton & Emma Young Gambill. He was preceded in death by a son, Cliff Gambill. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ann Jordan Gambill; daughter, Vicky Whited and her husband, Frank of Nashville; granddaughter, Tiffany Fitzpatrick of Smyrna; brother, Joe Gambill and his wife, Judy of Murfreesboro; sister, Dot Gammons and her husband, Lonnie of Lavergne; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Monday. Burial in Roselawn. Mr. Gambill was a member of Burnettes Chapel Church of Christ, and a retired employee from Ryder Truck Rental and D & E Trucking. Active Pallbearers will be Bruce, Walter, Jack, Bill Jordan, Frank Whited, Gerald Lee, Derrell Clem, Ray Cox. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Teats, Hubert Hall, Scott Browning, Kenny Brooks, Randy Ford, Dr. Matthew Perkins, Dr. Josh McCullom and Dr. Mitch Pullias.
