WALLACE T. SIKES, age 75, of Murfreesboro, died October 24, 2010. He was a native of Manassas, GA, and son of the late Tom L. and Mable Vivian Sikes. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Sikes is survived by daughters, Wendy (Darren) Clark of McMinnville, Tonia (Wayne) Haley of Smyrna, and Melody Turner of Smyrna; grandchildren, Misty Rost, Donnie (Amy) Hill, Rachel Haley, and Seth Haley; great grandson, Joshua Hill; siblings, Leon Sikes, Jackie (George) Arnett, Frieda (Glenn) Quick, Derrick (Jean) Sikes all of Georgia. He was married to the late Charlotte Sikes who died in 2008 and was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Rost. Mr. Sikes was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Korea.
