Wallace Sharber, age 75, died June 3, 2012 at his home. He was a native of Rockvale and the son of the late William Gray and Lottie Hall Sharber. He is also preceded in death by his brother Harold Sharber. Funeral service will be 12:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. John Hodge Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Sharber is survived by his wife of 54 years Ella Dickenson Sharber; sons Steven Sharber, Jeff Sharber and his wife Shelia, Keith Sharber and his wife Kathy, Scott Sharber and his wife Sharon, and Jason Sharber all of Murfreesboro; brother Leon Sharber of Murfreesboro; 11 grandchilren; 4 great-grandchildren; and companion Mishka. Mr. Sharber was a 1955 graduate of Rockvale High School; and served in the US Air Force for 8 years. He retired as Vice President from Bank of America in 2001. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
