W. Neal Farmer, age 56 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday June 23, 2015. Mr. Farmer was a native of Steelville, MO and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church of Murfreesboro. He was a HVAC Salesman for R.E. Michel Company in Murfreesboro. Mr. Farmer was a graduate of Steelville Missouri High Class of 1977 and attended Ranken Technical College in St. Louis MO. He loved his family, Nash his German Shepherd, gardening, grilling on his Green Egg, his 1997 "tricked out" Ford F150 truck, 2013 Jeep Wrangler and Stag Beer. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Cynthia Lynn Farmer; daughter, Monica Marie Braun of New Jersey; parents, Jack and Sara Farmer of Steelville MO; mother-in-law, Bernadine Stellhorn of Red Bud, IL; sisters, Mary Whitley and husband Jerry of Ferguson, MO. Lynn Holmes and husband Bill of California; brother, Mark Farmer and wife Alynn of Virginia; sister and brother-in-law, Donna Draves and husband Gene of Festus, MO; nephews, Matthew Holmes and wife Amanda of Indiana, Andrew Holmes of California, Daniel Farmer and wife Emily (and son Henry), Jonathon Farmer, Nicholas Farmer all of Virginia. Many cousins, aunts, uncles customers and friends. Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary and Theodore Brown; maternal grandparents Alfred and Marguerite Goodman, and Father-in-law Edgar Stellhorn. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until 11:00AM with Funeral service at 11:00AM Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church; Steelville, MO. Burial will follow in St.Johns Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, IL.
