Vivian Isabella Skidmore, age 77 of Smyrna died Friday August 5, 2011. She was a native of Nashville and was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ethel Neill Rogers; brother, Charlie Rogers, Jr., and a sister, Edith Leonard. Mrs. Skidmore was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church and was retired from Genesco Shoe Company in Nashville after 30 years of service. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold Skidmore; son Michael Skidmore and wife Belinda of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Laura Skidmore of Murfreesboro and Michael Ross Skidmore of Oklahoma. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Richard Skidmore and Phil DePriest officiating.
