Vivian Crowell Farrar, age 95, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2018. She was born in 1923 and was a native of Coffee County. Mrs. Farrar was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church, Bible Study Fellowship, and the Gideon's International. She graduated from State Teacher's College in 1942.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Nora Crowell; husband, Dan B. Farrar Sr., and brother, Burrell Crowell. She is survived by two sons, Dan Farrar Jr. and his wife Bonnie and Dr. Tom Farrar and his wife Elizbabeth; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and her sister, Irma Massey.

Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 3:00 p.m. all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A private burial will take place in Beechgrove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Marks United Methodist Church Building Fund or to Gideon's International.
