VIRGINIA LEE WELLS age 80 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Saturday January 31, 2009. A native of Sheridan, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late James Everett and Ethel Melinda Hoover Collins and was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles Hoover and Curtis Collins. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Franklin Road Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Norris and W. D. Gustafson officiating. Burial will be in the Bill Rice Ranch Memorial Park. Survived by daughter, Linda Wells of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sister in law, Veola Hoover of Greenwood, Indiana; nephews, Warren Jay Hoover of Laurel, Maryland, and Howard Lee Hoover of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by a great nephew, Darren Fortner of Indianapolis, Indiana. Virginia Wells was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church, a retired bookkeeper, and worked at the Sword of the Lord for 20 years. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM Thursday at Franklin Road Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
