Virginia Esther Okey Real, 98, of Rockvale, TN, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016. A native of Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clemence Leroy and Cecil Harrington Okey. Mrs. Real was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Johnson Real.

Mrs. Real is survived by her son, Michael Real, and his wife, Jo An of Rockvale, TN; grandchildren, Jenell Burt, and her husband, Kevin of St. Leonard, MD, and Melanie Brown, and her husband, Allen of Christiana, TN; great-grandsons, Zachary and Nathan Brown both of Christiana, TN; and two step-great-grandchildren, Laura Burt of Maryland and Greg Burt of Utah.

Mrs. Real was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired school secretary.
