Virginia Howard Crockett Artley, age 91 of Bell Buckle, Tennessee died Sunday May 25, 2008 at Community Care of Rutherford County. She was born in Glenn, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Ambrose & Blanche Bradshaw Crockett. She is survived by two sons, George Artley and his wife, Peggy of Bell Buckle, Tn., John D. Artley, III and his wife, Jimmie of Tucker, Georgia; grandchildren, Melissa Artley, Atlanta, Ga, Jessica (Jason) Frazier, Medina, Tn., Joshua (Rachel) Artley, Lebanon, Tn.; three great grandchildren, Victoria Frazier, Jackson Frazier and Macy Anne Frazier. Graveside services 4 pm Tuesday at La Grange Cemetery, La Grange, Ga. with George Artley officiating. Visitation with the family will be after 3 pm Tuesday at McKibbens Funeral Home in Hogansville, Georgia. Mrs. Artley was married to the late John Darwin Artley, II. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a devoted mother and homemaker. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Artley may be made to Caris HealthCare or the American Heart Association.
