Vickie P. Kindred, age 69, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. A native of Davidson County, TN, she was preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Josephine Adams Tutt; husband, Jerry Lynn Kindred; and brother, Billy Tutt.

Mrs. Kindred is survived by her sons, Jerry Kindred and his wife Susan of Smyrna, John Kindred and his wife Jennifer of Denver, CO, and Sammy Richards and his wife of Heather of New Albany, MS; sister, Patricia Waters and her husband David of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Nicole, Brent, Jake, Stella, Alec, and Shiloh; and two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Mila.

Mrs. Kindred was a member of the Nazarene. She worked many years in the V.A. with addmissions and later retired as a Director's Assistant with the Foresty Department in Louisiana. She enjoyed reading, shopping and loved her grandchildren very much. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
