VERA NEWMAN IVIE, age 99, of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009. She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Miller Ivie in 1981. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Friday at Stones River Manor. Bro. Ron Harper will officiate. Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Friday at Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Carolyn Ivie of Studio City, CA.
