Valerie McFadden, age 61, of Readyville, TN went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 23, 2014. A native of Baltimore, MD, she was preceded in death by her parents, Toussaint Louverture Dalton Sr. and Inez Walker Dalton and her brother, Toussaint Louverture Dalton Jr. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00PM to 6:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A private service will be held at a later date. Mrs. McFadden is survived by her daughter, April Stowe and her husband Rodrick of Readyville, TN; five grandchildren, Sunni, Dalton, Audrey, Akili and Reanna Stowe; two sisters; and three brothers. Mrs. McFadden was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Nashville, TN. She was a proud veteran having served in the United States Army. Mrs. McFadden was employed for 27 years with the United States Postal Service where she was currently serving as an acting supervisor. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
