Udom Kanjanabout

Today, we remember and honor the life of Udom Kanjanabout, born March 15, 1960, and who passed away on August 11, 2026. Udom was the son of the late Jalunsak Kanjanabout and Thongbay Kanjanabout.

He was a loving father to his three children: his eldest son, Phonephelom Kanjanabout; his daughter, Thiprakasone Kanjanabout; and his youngest son, Theprakone Kanjanabout.

Udom was also one of nine siblings. He was preceded in death by his brother, Nikhom Kanjanabout, and is survived by his siblings Moe Kanjanabout, On Kanjanabout, Vatsana Kanjanabout, Stacie McKnight, Santy Kanjanabout, Ree Tempongko, Soumaly Hosein, and Thatsany Kanjanabout.

Udom also leaves behind two grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loved ones who will continue to carry his memory with them.

His life was part of a much larger family story, and the memories shared with him will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

May he rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in remembering the life, love, and moments they shared with him.

Visitation will be at Woodfin Memorial Chapel on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 12:00 pm until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm.
