Topy
Khamsyvoravong
September 7, 1977 – January 11, 2026
Mr. Sonephet "Topy" Khamsyvoravong, age 48, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away suddenly, Sunday, January 11, 2026. Born in Laos, he was the son of Khamfay and Oulayvanh Khamsyvoravong.
Topy is survived by his loving wife, Seng Khamsyvoravong; his children, Marcus and Maylin Khamsyvoravong; his siblings, Malyphone and Daodeth Khamsyvoravong; and his nieces and nephews, Danny, Kevin, Mason, Harrison, Jonathan, Calvin, Mia, Carson, Yoshi and Myles.
Topy, a man of many talents will be best remembered as "The Man," the man who would bring everyone together, the man you'd want to surround in any setting, the man you'd call to have a serious conversation or a random "shooting the crap." To his family he was a son, a brother, a husband, a father and an uncle. In his lifetime, motorsports and all things automotive played one of the biggest roles but no matter how deep his passion and obligations ran in those, family and friends always came first. Topy, having the biggest of hearts, would give you the shirt off his back and then some more if he could. Not a person who has had the pleasure of meeting him will ever forget his name. "The Man" who put and will continue to put the smiles on every one of us.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday January 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the service begins at 2:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro. Immediately after the services we invite all who wish to participate in accompanying him through his final car meet.
