Mr. Tony Burns, age 61, of Rockvale, TN passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017. He was born in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Tommy P. Burns, Jr. and Lyla Baskin Burns. Mr. Burns enjoyed being a truck driver for Steel Technologies. He played country and jazz guitar and looked forward to fishing every chance he got. Mr. Burns was a faithful member of Patterson Baptist Church.

Mr. Burns is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cindy Burns; two sons, Tony Burns, II and Myles "Moe" Burns and his wife Amanda all of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren, Kyle, C.J., Allie, Aidan, and Bryson; brother, Tom Burns, III and his wife Carol of Goliad, TX; sister, Rozanne Moore and her husband Ivan of Knoxville, TN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shellia Gail Adams. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Tony Anderson will officiate. Burial will take place in Burns Cemetery in Rockvale.
