TOMMY CARNEY PITTS, JR, age 78, of Murfreesboro died Saturday, November 15, 2008. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Tommy and Lorene Tenpenny Pitts, Sr. Graveside services will be 10:00am Thursday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Dale Poteet will officiate. He is survived by his wife: Sherry Laake Pitts, daughter: Tiffany Young of Columbia, sons: Fred Snyder of Ft. Worth, TX, Tommy Pitts, III of Shelbyville, Joe Pitts of Murfreesboro, Mark Pitts of Nashville, Timothy Pitts of Melbourne, FL, brother: Arthur Pitts of McMinnville, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
