Timothy "Timmy" Barrett, age 53, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2015. A native of Murfreesboro, TN he was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbye Jean Neely Barrett. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Holly Grove Baptist Church (2633 Holly Grove Road, Lascassas, TN 37085). Brother Frank Lipetri will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Timmy is survived by his wife, Anna Maria Barrett; father, James H. Barrett of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Jim Barrett of Auburntown, TN, Bill Barrett and his wife Debbie of Murfreesboro, Mark Barrett and his wife Becky of Murfreesboro, Mickey Barrett and his wife Kim of Mt. Juliet, TN; and Bryan Barrett and his wife Heather of Murfreesboro along with several nieces and nephews. Timmy was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church. He loved anything dealing with cars and construction and enjoyed fishing. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in memory to Timmy through Holly Grove Baptist Church (8555 Cainsville Pike, Lascassas, TN 37085). Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
