Thurman Stanley Traylor, age 82 of Nashville died Wednesday, February 29, 2012. He was a native of Smyrna, TN and the son of the late Vernon H. Traylor and Margaret Neal Pope. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Jessie Mae Smith Traylor, who died in 2006. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Jim Creech will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by son, Mark Traylor, daughters, Teresa (Butch) Sexton of Nashville, Monica (Terry) Rhodes of Mt. Juliet, Angela (Scott) Miller of Mt. Juliet, grandchildren, Timothy Traylor, Brandon Harris, Corey and Casey Green, Haley and Ashley Rhodes, Kelsey and Kyle Miller, and great grandchild, Emelia Green. Mr. Traylor was a member of Vultee Church of Christ, a US Army veteran who served in Korea, a retired brick mason and member of the Brick Layers Union.
