Thomas Wayne T.J. Underwood, Jr., age 31, of Murfreesboro, TN, died Wednesday June 13, 2012 at his home. He was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Hazel Evans Underwood. T.J. is survived by his parents, Thomas Wayne Tommy Underwood, Sr. and Rhonda Scott Underwood; daughters, Amethyst Nichole and Kaitlyn Danielle Underwood; brother, Scotty Lee Underwood; sister, Brandi Underwood; grandparents, Dorris and June Scott all of Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dwight Bennison officiating. Burial will follow in the Farris Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. T. J. was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church and was employed by Dennis Construction as a house framer. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at WOODFIN FUNERAL CHAPEL. 893-5151.
