Thomas Edward Tenpenny, Jr. age 52 died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday May 7, 2016. He was a native of Rutherford County and was  preceded in death by his father Thomas Edward Tenpenny, Sr. Mr. Tenpenny was a member of Belle Aire Baptist Church and was a very successful sales representative of Trojan Batteries. He was a 1982 graduate of Oakland High School and a graduate of MTSU.

Mr. Tenpenny is survived by his wife of  26 years, Donna Tenpenny; daughters, Mary and Mollie Tenpenny of Murfreesboro; mother, Dorothy Campbell Tenpenny of Murfreesboro; sister, Lydia Oliver and husband Oren of Smyrna

Funeral service will be 11:00AM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel; Dr. Dean Sisk will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury. Visitation will be 5:00PM to 8:00PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
