Thomas Allen Stone age 79 of Smyrna, passed away Saturday March 21, 2015. A native of Madisonville, Kentucky he was the son of the late James R. and Hortense Kirkwood Stone. He is also preceded in death by a son; Anthony "Tony" Stone, and five brothers and two sisters. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Cornerstone Baptist Church; 890 Rock Springs Road, Smyrna, Tennessee. Pastor Stephen Stewart and Dr. Jim Tedder will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mr. Stone is survived by his wife of 60 years; Peggy Bowden Stone, his children; daughters; Pam Klein and her husband Ron of Lascassas, Donna Haviland and her husband Eric of Wyoming, son; Andy Stone and his wife Kim of Smyrna, and daughter-in-law Angela Stone of Texas. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and sister; Carolyn Levy of North Carolina. Mr. Stone was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver from Roadway Express. Visitation will be 5:00pm until 8:00pm Monday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.
