Thomas Frank Ormes, age 60 of Smyrna died Friday May 22, 2015. He was a native of California and was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Ormes who died in 2013, a grandchild, Charles Thomas Ormes, his father Thomas C. Ormes. Mr. Ormes was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church and was retired manager with Cooks Pest Control. He is survived by his children, Laura Roark and husband Cory of Old Hickory, Chris Ormes and wife Tracey of Smyrna, Jeff Ormes and wife Kelly of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Jaelynn and Casen Roark, Alexis, Madelyn, Braden, Kyla, Maci Ormes, and Evelyn Finney; mother, Frances Olivia Ormes of Murfreesboro; brother, Jim Ormes of Murfreesboro; sisters, Diana Scott and husband Christopher of Ohio, Theresa Ormes of Murfreesboro; godchildren, Alexe Ormes and Jason Ogaz, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Pastor Paul Chisgar will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
