Thomas E. Mullins, age 90, of LaVergne, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 17, 2015. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Ron Caldwell will officiate. Burial will follow in Mullins Hill Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Mullins is survived by his children, Timothy B. Mullins (Debbie), Beverly Mullins Vaughn, and Howard T. Mullins and his wife Cherry all of LaVergne, and Vallie Mullins Reed of Smyrna, TN; seven grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Estille Garvin Mullins; wife, Dorothy Bozza Mullins; two brothers, Jack and Granville Mullins and a sister, Marie Cherry. Mr. Mullins served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was retired with the City of Nashville Street Department. Family will serve as pallbearers. Memorials in memory of Mr. Mullins can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Smyrna Public Library Children's Department.
