Thomas "Chad" Lynch, age 42, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2017. A native of Rutherford County, he was preceded in death by his mother, Gale Lynch Matlock; and his grandfathers.

Funeral Services will be on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Fellowship United Methodist Church. Brother Don Morris and Brother Mack Strange will officiate. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna, TN.

Chad is survived by his daughter, Shelby Lynch of Murfreesboro; son, Marshall Chandler Lynch of Smyrna; father, Marshall Thomas Lynch and his wife Jo Ann of Smyrna; brother, Brandon Edward Lynch of Murfreesboro; grandmothers, Genevieve Lynch of Smyrna and Margaret Ingersoll of Warsaw, NY; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends; and his cat, Jr.

Chad was employed by P.A.M. Transport as a Truck Driver. He attended Fellowship United Methodist Church. He was a man of many talents and could always find a way to fix anything. His children were the most important thing to him in the entire world. He was a loving, devoted father and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. all at Fellowship United Methodist Church located at Hwy-99 (New Salem Hwy) Murfreesboro, TN 37128.
