THOMAS GREGORY LOYD, age 41 of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Mary Marie Garrett Loyd. He was also preceded in death by his brother Roger Dale Loyd, Sr. Funeral service will be 10:30am Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Darrel Whaley will officiate. Burial will follow in Whitworth Cemetery. He is survived by his wife: Laura Leigh Norris; father, Ray Donald Loyd and stepmother, Barbara Loyd of Walter Hill; son, Sonny Ray Loyd; daughters, Ashley Nicole Loyd, Misty Marie Loyd all of Murfreesboro; brothers, Keith Loyd of Unionville, Chad Loyd of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Kayden Lillie Daugherty, John Tommy Konner Daugherty, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other close friends and relatives. Greg attended Kingdom Ministries and was a professional wrestler for many years.
